We had a wonderful learning outdoor experience with Dr. Diane Kashin, RECE where we explored outdoors and early learning experiences created with intentionality and with a competent view of the child.
Children deserve to play outside to learn. With childhood increasingly becoming an indoor culture, we have a responsibility to support children’s opportunities to play outside to learn. With intentional planning we can build on experiences that begin with freedom to explore and play. This interactive workshop gave participants hands on experiences to consider and deepen their role in outdoor and nature play provision.
